Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) conducts a survey into languages that are in danger of extinction. Here is an interactive map of world languages by region and how endangered they are.

The snap below shows the 879 languages worldwide with only 500 or fewer remaining speakers. It's incredible. I'd no idea how many are so close to extinction.

Yupe, that's true. I'm from an area on that map and I perfectly understand the language but I don't speak it, which is already a way to kill that language :-(

Friulian
From north east Italy, with 600k speakers according to Wikipedia. Guess that makes it quite frail.
600k sounds too much to me. I think they are less, so even worst.
However in places like Argentina there are large communities of people that migrated there from my region that still speak that language.
