Slow Blues Guitarist Looking To Jam
Me: 45yo Male - been playing guitar on and off for 30+ years. Have touring and recording experience - but haven't done anything pro for many years.
I'm looking to meet other local players/performers - Keys, Harmonica, Guitar, Bass, Vocals etc. who are into slower, electric Blues in a soulful, Chicago-style for open-ended, improvised and freestyle jams.
I'm not currently looking to join/form a working band or do covers - but I can rattle out some of the standards and I would consider joining an existing act if the vibe was right. I don’t drive so I’d prefer something local - but I will consider some travelling for the right people.
I’m keen to start jamming with other players so if you're into the style then I'd like to hear from you to see where it goes.

Whereabouts are you based? I've been a guitar player for 35 years plus, similarly have lots of recording/performing experience but nothing pro for years and interested in doing something to keep my hand in.

Try the Vintage Blues Music Association. www.thevintage.org.uk They run a weekly club called the Harmonica's Blues Club in Palmers Green . One bus from Wood Green .

Sounds interesting . I too am local. I am old school blues harp player and vocalist ( nearly 50 years playing both acoustic and amplified ). Always very happy to Jam with new people . Am going away on holiday but back early October if you are still keen then.
