Bag robbery on Woodlands Park road - Watch out...
Hi all,
I saw a women have her bag snatched from her as she was walking along Woodlands Park Road/St Ann's road yesterday evening. She held onto it, fell down and was dragged on the floor before she let go and the guy (hooded, didn't see his face) ran away with it.
I was in my flat on the other side of the crossing and tried to see if she was ok, but she understandably left quite fast
I really hope she's ok - and for everyone else, please be careful!!!

What a horrible shock that must have been. I've always felt quite safe around those streets so this is a wake up call not to be complacent. My own bag was snatched around 6 years ago in broad daylight on seven sisters road (near the st anns junction). Since then I only ever carry bags that either go across my body satchel style, or backpacks. We shouldn't have to adapt in order to make ourselves less likely targets, but needs must.
