Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

About nine months ago, a gang of us went for Sunday lunch at The Salisbury. I'm sorry to say it was very disappointing: food was ages coming, some meals a lot later than others and they got the order wrong.
I've got family visiting on Sunday, and I'd like to take them all for lunch there. Is it worth it? Was my previous experience a one off?

Danzigger, see this thread;

Salisbury pub - Sunday lunch

My last food there was for Monday night; lovely pizza. But was a freebie for one they over cooked previously.
Ta - sounds a bit hit and miss from that thread. I'll probably take a chance on it.
I would recommend the Garden Ladder, self service so not much waiting around, excellent sunday roast.
I'm with Ruth - I really love the Ladder for Sunday Roast (and most other meals as well)
Hi,

took a group of friends there last weekend. Service was good, excellent nut roast for veggie option. However, the roast pots were awful and the other veg only ok. They were pretty inflexible on finding something for pregnant person not eating nuts too. Sounds like the ladder might be better - which is a shame as the Salisbury is such a lovely pub.
