Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Original Harringay Ladder Victorian Front Door For Sale

I have an original front door from a late Victorian mid-Ladder house. They seem to very hard to get hold of (a bit like gold dust it seems). So before selling this out of the area, I thought I'd see if anyone else local wants it.

It's in an as removed from its hinges condition, but it looks pretty good to me. It's been in use for 120 years and so has the character you'd expect of it, but it seems pretty solid. It measures 210 x 97cm or 82 3/4 x 38 1/4 inches.

Price will be the best offer I get. I want to sell in Harringay but if I get a 'best offer' elsewhere, I'm afraid that's where it'll go. I'm not a door dealer so my guide to prices has been an internet search which I'm sure you can conduct as well as I can!

No need for a door but wow your floor looks amazing.

Hi there - I would like to buy this door. Please could you text me on 07854 869804 so that we can arrange. Thanks Dan

Thanks Dan. Have sent you a connection request.

Please accept my DM as I would love to chat about this door
Hi, I'm also interested in the door too! Thanks

Hello, sorry to jump on Cheko's thread but we also have a Victorian front door that we'd prefer to sell locally rather than send it out of Harringay. If anyone's interested, send me a connection request and I can send you pictures.

Could be, I'm thinking of replacing my front door, the size is 36 x 84 inches if you could check yours, thanks. Alyson (tried connection requests before and my computer is too slow to cope)

We're interested. Just sent you a connection request. Thanks!

Right, I've taken a picture of the door but can't attach it to this message while on my phone, so message me with an email address if you'd like to see it. Our builders rather unhelpfully piled lots of other dirty things around it when they removed it, so it looks pretty grubby in this photo, but it's solid and the real Victorian deal. Measures 34 x 83 inches (I think; children were making noise as I measured). We're home tonight if anyone wants to come and see it.

Thanks for measuring, just a bit too small!
