Neil Protheroe - plumber recommendation
Having recently had the need to use Neil Protheroe's emergency plumbing services (we found him on here), we’d like to recommend Neil for any plumbing related problems.
He was both responsive and friendly, and also extremely experienced and competent in the work he carried out for us, quickly identifying the source of problem we had, and working efficiently to provide a fix. He also had useful advice to pass on regarding our heating system, and seems to have a fair outlook for charging customers.

OK so Neil Protheroe is a pretty decent guy and a good plumber, who, without warning, is sometimes unreliable. Can we leave it at that?

My post is not negative, is not in any way defamatory, nor do I respond every time the guy is mentioned. The simple fact is that he is well liked, his work is praised, but he let more than one customer down badly. I have heard no explanation from him about this, and he must be well aware of the posts here so I think one is overdue. And please don't use the term 'respectfully' when you don't mean it.
