This sounds good, though having been to a previous ADM event I was disappointed to see that prizes only went to pedigrees. I would have thought a rescue charity would try to embrace all manner of dogs (including the crosses and mixed breeds, which are harder to home)

Hi Natasha. I have had good experience at ADM plus other Dog Charity shows in recent years, with two mongrels . Though i have to come clean and reveal that I currently have a pedigree . I agree the prizes should not necc. reflect the breed - though not sure I am convinced by "Best Dog" anyway... I am going on sunday to support it and a wondering if we may put one on more locally later in the year .

I thought best dog is just a bit of fun, and that prizes should go to all manners of dogs. Unfortunately at the show we went to (Victoria Park) they only picked out pedigrees. I'm all for supporting dog charities, but I would would just like them to be a bit more inclusive.
