Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Two green parakeets
Has anyone lost two green parakeets? They are sitting in a tree in my neighbour's garden, eating berries. I'm in Seymour Road, Wightman Road end.

I'd imagine that they're wild. I know there's a flock living up near Trent park so it wouldn't surprise me to find some down here.

Ah yes. After I posted I found another post on HOL about wild parakeets in the area. Thinking about it further, I have heard parakeets chattering in the summer.

I saw a flock in Stamford Hill this morning which added a bit of colour on an otherwise grey day. Apparently parakeets do very nicely here. The flock in Richmond Park is now so vast there are calls to cull them...
