Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Puppy owner looking for local dog lovers
We have a lovely 4 month old female schnoodle (small schnauzer poodle crossbreed) puppy who is very affectionate, sociable and outgoing. A friend suggested asking on HOL if there are people who are at home in the day & would like some doggy company and might like to borrow her occasionally at times when I need to do other things? I am at home a lot, but sometimes need to be out for more than a couple of hours at a time and would feel happier knowing that she was having a nice time too! She doesn't necessarily need someone who can walk her, as I can usually do that, though extra trips to the park are always a bonus for her. She is still a puppy, so is teething/mouthing with her sharp little baby teeth & is not 100% toilet trained yet, but is pretty good. We are on the Harringay ladder, so ideally looking for people on the ladder too or reasonably close to it, for ease of drop off/pick up.

We work weekdays but would love to help out evenings/weekends. We do puppysitting and catsitting for others on Harringay Online and I'm sure they would give us a reference. We live on Pemberton Rd on the ladder. I will send you my number :)

Hi there, I am home most days. I live on Seaford road, which is off St Ann's. I have a house, garden and am not precious about furniture or clearing up after her. You could come and meet me if you think I'm near enough. Ps. I am Ofsted registered Early Years teacher, now at home doing research.

Hello,
We also work week days but look after our friends’ dog (a male shih tzu) sometimes when they need to do other things, or when they go on holiday and are unable to take him with them. We play with him, take him for walks in the park and wherever else we might need to go. (All free of charge, by the way).
We are just off Stroud Green Road on the other side of Finsbury Park but have friends in the Haringey ladder and shop in your area very often, so we could also come and pick up your puppy, if that were more convenient.

Thank you very much for your message. I have just joined a specialised dog lending/borrowing website (borrow my doggie) so think I will be able to find local people through that who'd like to look after her sometimes. If for some reason that doesn't work out I can always contact you again via HOL.
