I'm a sucker for good BBQ. Porky's already has successful branches in Camden, Bankside and Shoreditch. Today their newest restaurant opens in the former St James restaurant at the top end of Middle Lane.
Their 'main act' includes slow-cooked ribs with the house sauce, 18-hour pulled pork (whatever that may be!), ‘good licks’ such as spicy fried catfish, and assorted ‘hound dogs’ (British pork sausage with fried onions in a bun, plus numerous toppings), all served in classic enamel dishes.
I'm going to be giving this one a try-out.

The stringy stuffing the top left of your picture is pulled pork!
It just means meat that is slow cooked for a long time (with additional liquids/spices etc) that is then shredded. Pork shoulder particularly suited to this style of cooking because the fat means it is nice and succulent.
