A far cry from the extremely temporary "better haringey" "plaques" we get now...
Now we have elegant fittings adapted to original lamps in Crouch End, and off the shelf eyeball blasters in the East of the borough. Historic trees in the West, absence of significant trees in the East. Complete disparity.

The stock water troughs on Hornsey High street remain, is there a trough near the civic centre? Im sure the well cover installation in Tottenham still remains near the bus depot. Duckets Common should have a trough being communal grazing land on a stock route, but doesn't to my knowledge.

Around Winchmore Hill there has been a concerted effort to preserve in situ our agricultural heritage, providing an incidental point, for visitors to contemplate their surroundings and historic context.
