High view builders/ John Hannon - Anyone used them?

Hi,

We're looking at using High View builders who are based within the ladder (Rayleigh Road) for a job, having received a favourable quote.

Has any one on the forum used them? or knows the owner John Hannon?

Would appreciate any feedback, what was your experience.

We didn't physically go to their office yet but we have been calling both their cell phone and office numbers and they are not responding. And the emails are bouncing back (website is no longer working also) I think we will try to go this week.

Did you do works with them? Thanks.

Yes my mother had them do a small leak on the roof. It was a good while ago so it sounds like things may have changed.

If you check companies house website you'll see the company ceased trading last year.

My neighbour paid them a deposit for some work and are trying to get the deposit back.

You can imagine this is proving to be next to impossible...

We went to their office and it's a fake address- there is nobody and no office space. So it seems like we are scammed. We will go to the police and report John Hannon. Maybe your neighbor can also report him to the police. If we spread the word at least we can prevent them to scam other people. Thanks.
