Good hospice/mental health charity?

Can anyone recommend a good hospice and/or mental health charity? I'm trying to set up a small regular donation and I've decided on the causes but not the specific charities. If anyone has any recommendations I'd be grateful. Local would be nice, but not essential. Thank you!

'Mind' are a good mental health charity...I try to give an annual donation in memory of a friend and I always give it to them. There is a Mind in Haringey that would presumably mean that donations stay locally.
