Selfish Parking at South Harringay Juniors

I witnessed the most staggeringly selfish piece of parking on the zig zags outside South Harringay Juniors yesterday.... there was already a car double parked on the opposite side of the road when this mother drove up parked on the yellow zig zags outside the school, entirely blocking traffic along Mattison Road, and leaving cyclists mounting the pavements to get through and a line of cars beeping and hollering.  Children were attempting to cross between cars trying to find a way through.  It was chaos.  What can we do to re-educate people to not be so selfish and to not put other children's lives at risk for their own short-sighted convenience?  Answers on a postcard to.....

I know exactly who that parent is Antoinette and she is a nightmare to be honest.

Well I rather got that impression from the fact that when I walked back into the playground after remonstrating with her I got high-fives from at least three other mums. It seems to me though that bad behavior should be challenged and I really don't care if it makes me look like a battleaxe!

The following makes it sound as though the parking enforcement officer doesn't have the right to issue PCNs unless there are signs as well? Perhaps we should get signs put up:

Also, note the rule is *no waiting* and not simply *no parking* .

Well, I saw the same woman parked on the zig zags on Tuesday..... I took a photo and sent it to parking enforcement at the Council....I wait with bated breath for their response

I do... what should I be doing with that information? The school Head knows who she is but I wouldn't expect him to divulge that information to me.

Pointy elbows, naked but for an all-over sense of entitlement. In short, a typical modern Harringay parent with her gaze fixed on Fortismere, Latymer and Latymer Upper School simultaneously, lending her something of a three-way cross-eyed, cock-eyed demeanour. Try not to cross her.
