Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I have a nice little fellow looking for a home. His name is Nero and was rescued from the street a couple of months ago. I took care of him and put him back into shape (he was in a state when found), got him neutered and vaccinated and now he is ready to find his forever home. He is a sweet little cat, quite small in size. The vet said he is about one year old. He will need a home with access to a garden, possibly not in Duckett Road or he will keep coming back to me! Unfortunately I cannot keep him as I already have a cat and another local feral I am looking after. My partner says no more!

Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to meet him, or pass this on to anyone who might be interested.

Thanks

Hi we also have a stray coming in our garden that we are now feeding. He is very timid. We need to try and catch him to walk get him to the vet to be neutered. How did you catch Nero? Any tips?? Thanks Emma

It was easy, as he is very friendly and confident. He doesn't mind being handled and comes when you call him.

I would suggest you keep feeding him and slowly get him into the house - move the plate closer each time until he feels confident to be inside. Once he is in just close the door! it will be easier to put him in a box. I am sure you are aware of this, but you can get strays neutered for free at some vets (with a C4 voucher). I got mine neutered for free, but decided to give him a full set of tests and vaccinations/worming as well, to make sure he was ok.

Good luck with it!

Thank you that sounds like a good idea re getting him in the house..will keep persisting!!
Hope you find a hole for your one...I already have 2 so can't take another!!
Regards
Emma

Sweet little Nero is still looking for a home. Just adding to my post so it makes it to the top of the list again!

Thanks
