Lost small black cat

Our black cat has been gone since Friday afternoon, so over 48 hrs now which he's never done before so we're getting a bit worried.

We are on Cavendish Road, close to the river.

He's quite small and has delicate features, will consent to being stroked but doesn't like being picked up. No collar but he is chipped.

I'm attaching some photos - please let me know if you think you've seen him.

Hi I saw a small black cat yesterday on Stanhope gardens. I was concerned because it seemed too small to be out and didn't have a collar. Please let us know how you get on.

it wasn't Lauren. Turns out he has been on "holiday" in Essex.

I think Tess will write a blog post about the story and what we think happened. But the punch line is the cat rescue home we got him from didn't register the cat to us, but to a lovely family who had him for 2 weeks before deciding with a v. young child cat owning wasn't for them at that time. So the cat home didn't register him to us when we got him 2 years ago.

These lovely people just drove from Essex to return him.

Truly some people are lovely.
