High view builders/ John Hannon - Anyone used them?

Hi,

We're looking at using High View builders who are based within the ladder (Rayleigh Road) for a job, having received a favourable quote.

Has any one on the forum used them? or knows the owner John Hannon?

Would appreciate any feedback, what was your experience.

We had a leak on our roof and they sorted it out. It wasn't a particularly big job but they were polite and punctual.

we didn't end up using them. there were a few issues which left me made me lose confidence.

We didn't end up using them.

Having checked them out with companies house, it currently shows the company as being dissolved.

Status: Dissolved 23/12/2014

I found Highview very amenable, responsive and helpful, but didn't use them in the end either. We also 'lost confidence'. Presently using Haynes Building Services who were recommended elsewhere on this site. So far ... really quite happy ... but work is still underway - so I'd best reserve judgement for now.

Hi, We have tried to use Highview Builders but I think we got scammed. We have paid them a deposit but they never showed up. They are not answering our phone calls or emails. Does anyone have suggestions on how to reach them or sue them to get our money back? Thanks.
