Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Does anyone know of a local storyteller who would be free to tell an interactive story for young children on SUNDAY MAY 24TH as part of the Pemberton Road play street afternoon?

There is some lottery money available for a great teller.

Many thanks,

Nemone.

I loved listening to Aboriginal Dream Time as a child, I found the Rainbow Serpent at the Stoke Newington Bookshop for my boys.
That doesn't really help, but try Woodlands Children's Centre, they have some great local contacts.
The guys at the Big Green bookshop tell a good story.
Indeed

Hi Nemone - there is a fantastic storyteller called Olusola Adebiyi. He worked at Kori Arts for many years. You can email me for his details.

Thanks so much for your reply. I think I have found someone but I will email you (when I figure out how to do that) to get the details of this person too as I will be needing another one later in the summer again.

Cheers,

Nemone.

Nemone, if you get stuck, I just got into a conversation on a train with someone involved with an international storytelling festival. She offered me two links; one UK and one London
London - Google Crick Crack Club and Ben Haggerty
National - beyondtheborder.com.

How flukey is that!

Thanks for those connections - I am now gathering a storytelling data base for future events!

Cheers,

Nemone.

ps how do I get another HOL member email?
