You may need planning permission - I'm not sure but you should check. There are limits on eg height.

apparently if its less than 2.5 m high it doesn't need planning. love the green roof! would really like one with best possible flowers for the bees.
we had one built last year. no planning permission if under 2.5 meters and within ? sq meterage ground cover. No concrete base but pillars sunk into the ground. It wasn't cheap but worth it - long guarantee, up in one week to construct, fully insulated and heated and electric linked and broadband. really pleasant dealings with the company… www.gardenlodges.co.uk
