I'm not too sure about this one Alison, but it would be interesring to see what he clains it's been in the meantime. It's been way more than two flats from what Ben is saying, so he should be on pretty thin ice.
In case no-one's notice, permission granted:

And what about 37 Warham Road - I can't find any discussion on HOL about it but permission's also been granted there (see same document).
YOU ARE (*&*(&*&KIDDING ME!!!
How did they slip that one through? This is is awful, and should not have been granted at all.
People, what can be done about it? This is absolutely ridiculous!
We're fighting to get rid of HMOs, and they let this one through, despite them paying council tax for a whole house, no evidence of any flats.
So what are the council doing about that then? I would have thought a back-dated council-tax payment would be in order, dating back to when this crook claims the house was illegally converted in the first place? HAH!

I was looking at no 37 too, and found out: it was converted to 4 flats in 1993.
They paid concil tax band A from 26.11.2002, for flat 3 aAND 4 so that seems like they had 4 flats there. 1st floor flat was band C from 28.96, then a rear ground floobe1t was band A from 26.11.02
Now there are 2 flats in band C, effective from 01.06.2004, so it seems this is actually one going the right way.

Go here if you fancy doing some more snooping: http://www.voa.gov.uk/council_tax/cti_home.htm
Bushy thanks for picking up on this and also for the comment on the 118 discussion. I hadn't realised that they'd started publishing the monthly decisions now. (I used to add them when I had more time). You seem to be targetting Warham - which is great. Any particular reason?

I've noticed you picking up on this issue quite a bit lately - I don't suppose there's any hunger there to co-ordinate action......................?????????
No reason for targetting Warham other than friends living there. I'm an Effinghite. But just had some spare time yesterday so did some digging around some of the recent problem HMOs and ended up trawling through recent decisions to see what's slipped through the net.

Happy to help out as much as i can but unfortunately time restraints mean if it can't be done in 10-15 spare mins on the home computer, I'm struggling. Let me know what you had in mind.
Perhaps someone from Warham could ask the Council for a copy of the decision (Since their planning site doesn't seem to be working) then at least we'd have an idea of the grounds on which the decision was taken
