Yes. But some people believe that the Government is secretly in league with Monsanto to spray chemicals from aeroplanes to modify the weather.

John, normally I rate you a bit of a **** stirrer but I had never heard this one before till my next door neighbour actually pointed to the sky and said 'you see, they spray them to control the weather' I tried to explain about high-pressure weather and jet trails, but ........

It does seem that there is an element of experimental engineering going on, but jet trails like these indicate a high pressure area with lovely cool breezes and bright sunshine .Great Spring weather!

Geoengineering has been getting worse for the past 4 years people are used to getting up in the morning seeing a blue sky then planes come over and coat the sky in trails which spread and create a mono cloud that coats the sky sometimes for days on end. If it's not happening then why does the UK have a treaty with the US since 2009 to allow them to spray here. Don't believe me go to the parliament website and plug in Geoengineering. Want more proof go to http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/ they've taken out a high court action to force the US and Canadian governments to acknowledge the truth. How many have seen black 'Contrails' or luminous pink or crazy alien looking skies. It is a known fact that contrails are single ice crystal trails that disappear before the plane is out of sight but they can't form in summer it's too warm. You need to meet my friend, Professor Karen Douglas. They have enough trouble building safe jet engines without adding magic chemical crap to them. This is just like how clouds form. Scientific American have a nice explanation here.
I do agree that the contrails can reflect a lot of sunlight but you give the government too much credit if you think it's deliberate. A study was done after the US government grounded all commercial flights in the wake of the 9/11 bombings in America and found that the temperature increased by 1.1C, which is huge, but not deliberate.
