Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I'm in the midst of selling a SOFH flat and been told I need a fire and asbestos risk assessment for the common parts (the tiny entrance hall).

Does anyone have any recommendations for companies that do this?

Thanks

I had the same with a communal hallway of about 2 square metres last year. The buyers (or rather their solicitor) wanted one, I refused as it seemed completely ridiculous. Sometime I think it's solicitors playing games with each other. Ask your estate agent for advice or ask the buyers to pay. I really felt quite strongly that this was an absurd waste of time and money and faced with the bill most buyers will probably come to the same conclusion. Sorry it's not a recommendation but i had to comment when I saw your post, the whole thing made me so mad at the time!

Thanks for the info: exactly my feelings on the issue, so I'll see what I can do to resist!
