Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

After much delay, the Vietnamese Restaurant next to the Salisbury has got the go ahead from the planning department under a temporary measure for two years. With recent changes in planning law, it is likely that this two year permission will easily be made permanent.

I'm so happy!

Woop woop! Hurrah!

Brilliant, look forward to checking it out - thanks for keeping us updated Hugh.

great news; but it was absurd that permissions have been delayed this long. Other restaurants have opened up or changed use while this one has been waiting. Doesn't generate much confidence in the planning system.

Clearly a Vietnamese restaurant brings something new to the area, well down to the owners for persevering

Great news - at long last! I love the Turkish restaurants we have but Green Lanes is sorely in need of more variety!

Whoop. Finaaaaally. So any ideas how long they anticipate before the grand opening? Let's hope they do papaya salad and good hearty pho....and please let it be child friendly and not packed wall to wall with tables where you can't walk between them!!

Is there any news on when they will finally open?  :)

They made a second planning application to get final approval on their exhaust flu just last week. So I guess all I know is that the ball is still in play.
