Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Lammy submits last minute objection to St Ann's Hospital planning application.

David Lammy and Catherine West have jointly submitted an objection to this application on the last day for submitting comments. They seek a deferral of the decision, mainly based on the plan for only 14% affordable housing and lack of housing for mental health patients. You can find the objection right at the bottom of list of comments.

If David Lammy / Catherine West fail on this they will lose hundreds of votes for labour.

Dont just let David Lammy object join the protesters who want a real hospital at St Anns on Monday 16 March 2015  and not a patthetic amount of affordable housing....

Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust are putting forward their plans to sell off 2/3rds of our NHS land for mostly unaffordable housing  on 16 March 2015.

The Council are recommending this sell off go through and have disgracefully allowed any future developer to build only 14% so called affordable homes on the site when the Councils policy states it should be 50%. (However affordable is defined as 80% of market rent so putting even 14% beyond the reach of most Haringey residents )   Even David Lammy has objected to the 14% and called for this planning decision to be deferred !  (see below for details )
