Vintage charity fashion show needs models! All shapes and sizes for Harringay Christmas market..

Hellooo really hoping I can convince a few lovely locals to help me out with a charity fashion show for the Harringay Christmas Market on Saturday 6th December, in aid of the Crisis at Christmas Appeal.

I need about 4/5 adults of various sizes, men and women, and 3/4 kids of age 1/2/3/4, to strut their stuff (or be carried in parents arms!) in some beautiful vintage clothing from my stall which I run on Sundays at the market.

Also asking for any donations of vintage (pre-1990) or quality newer/designer clothes to showcase at the event - coats and party dresses/tux/suits/bags and shoes most welcome as it's Christmas! Half the sale price of the clothes sold on the day will go to charity. The other half will go to the original owner. I need the clothes by Monday 24th November and can collect.

There will also be vintage stalls in the hall to browse for interesting one-off clothes, and stalls from people who've been involved in workshops that Crisis run in textiles and millinery design.. please come and support them!

The show will be at 6pm at the indoor hall at the Kurdish Centre, off Portland Gardens, N4 where the market is normally held.

The Crisis at Christmas Appeal feeds homeless people a Christmas dinner and £216.20 would buy a table of 10 - community.crisis.org.uk/press. Anything over that I'd like to give to Age UK, Haringey Branch, so they can make sure some of our older residents without immediate family in the area aren't forgotten at Christmas.

So please spread the word and get in touch - discounts at the market for volunteers! And lots of you must have clothes at the back of the wardrobe you'd been thinking of getting rid of, ready for a fresh start in January??
