Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

several people replied to my email asking if all patients get the same bad treatment or is the Whittington ageist - my update: a few days ago, I went in to the office in the foyer where a pleasant helpful lady made a number of calls and got my Rheum clinic appt brought forward       a few days later, I was informed it was postponed yet again and yet again I got 2 copies of the same letter    no it is not unbelieveable because it happens to too many people!

We had to deal with Whittington when my husband broke his radius a few months ago and found them to be generally very efficient and helpful throughout - fracture clinic/radiology/physiotherapy.

I have always chosen to go to the whittington A&E over the last 20y with my various accidents- as i always find them excellent- i dont know about appts and such but i have always turned up as an emergency whether blue lighted by ambulance, straight into resus or other times, i have pitched up on my bike- They did however miss my original clavicle fracture last winter but when i then proceeded to have 2 more fractures of it, nessecitating emergency treatment, surgery over the weekend they were excellent

i think ;like a lot of places it is very overstretched so the not so urgent things get missed like appt schedules etc- but if you are proper poorly, emergencies etc they are fantastic and i would  always choose there over private- not that I have the money for it

The medical staff I deal with are great, with one or two exceptions over the years. However, I'm not sure what is happening with appointments, I always get two copies of the appointment letters and my appointment for September which was made in February or March has been moved back to October and now again to November. I'm 34 so I don't think age is a factor.
