.....two come along at once.
So what have we done to deserve this?
Harringay Market is being reborn this week based at the Kurdish Centre in the Gardens, then a week later a new market is opening up in Harringay Market's first home.
Let's not even mention another exciting foodie arrival due in the hood in the coming months.

Living at the North End of the Ladder I am happy to see a market back at North Harringay. The Harringay Market chose to leave the school preferring the other end of the Ladder. Much as I love the Harringay Market it is no longer just a quick nip down the road to stock up on eggs and veg. I will come, but not every week and the same will be the case for many others. But Harringay Market should get new customers in its new location so there may very well be room for two markets.
I agree. The venue was really great, even if the location is not that central.
Just to be clear, I am not against an alternative market at NHP. However, I think the subterfuge involved in getting it up and running along with the weird new accounts on HoL in support of it are wrong.
"The area is not big enough to support two markets" seems to be the essence of the argument against the new market.
I seem to remember this was the gist of the argument from Ally Pally farmers market when Harringay market opened up.
Nothing new under the sun.
Oh no!!! I hadn't thought of the missing moggies - that is terrible. Just think of them wandering around lost in Harringay and everyone too busy to link them up to their owners. But maybe they'll turn up at the markets for food.
Cats/markets/food....food/market/cats - that comment might be taken two ways, Kamila!
Blimey, Hugh, that's NOT what I meant!!! Horrible thought! We jest though (don't we?).
you guys crack me up!
happy to be part of a community where the topic of Sunday markets is so important. think i'm going to fit right in
