The leaning tree of Harringay is to be cut down.
The Haringey Council tree department contacted me today to let us all know that since its Pisa-esque tendencies have been getting more pronounced its days are numbered.
Apparently they have just completed the planting programme for the Harringay Ward and will aim to plant replacement trees within the Ward again in the 2017/2018 planting season. I've asked for details for all three wards within Harringay.

Glad we've kept the leaning tree of Falkland - the lean isn't as pronounced as this one and leans parallel to the road so the obstruction is not as great.
Sadly we just lost an attractive mature Ash tree adjacent to North Harringay Primary due to damage from a recent storm.
A reminder, despite any rain we receive to water our young trees - see the attached on how everyone can help (please feel free to distribute to your neighbours with new trees near their homes).
See here.
