Spent this morning there and was reminded how nice it is. There is a reasonable café with some well-maintained ride-on toys for the kids and a host of walls and mounds for them to climb over. It's also one of the cleanest, prettiest and best maintained parks in Haringey. The toilets are reasonable too (at least by Haringey standards).
No sign of fascists either.

Many don't know of the great bmx/skateboard park which is just to the left of the old pumphouse as you enter under the bridge at the end of Markfield road. It is also a good entry point for the Canal towpath now that Broad Lane is two way.....
You can also do a good round walk, e.g:
- 67 Bus, get off at Stamford Hill, walk across Clapton common, down Spring Hill & into Springfield park. Have lunch/Brunch in Spark Cafe there (one of Time Out's top park cafes).
- Walk down hill to River Lee, walk north to Markfield park
- Tea & cakes at Markfield park
- Train back (1 stop) from South Tottenham to Harringay Green lanes
