Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi guys,
Bun and Bar is nearly ready now and we are hopeing to open very shortly. I wanted ask about what the residents of Harringay think about local craft beers? Would be interesting to find out what's your favourite London craft beers. We have just secured a exclusive contract with a great local beer supplier and would be providing great local draft ales as well as largers ;)

Are you likely to offer a gluten-free option without the bun? I'll definitely come by if so.

Hey Sarah
If you ask one of the team I'm sure we can provide you a gluten free burger:)
Hey Jessica
We have a supplier who has a farm in Cambridgeshire and all the patties will be done in-house so the meat will be minced in our restaurant. We also have a open kitchen so you can see everything being cooked :)
It's free range jess although we are also in contact with another supplier who do organic beef too:)

|You're not an Archers fan then?  The arrival of Cowditz in Ambridge created a furore, and I still reckon in will get burnt down one day (after liberating the cows of course).

2 current possible suppliers at the moment once we decide who to use will update you guys;)
Phil :))
Never forget you are what you eat:) so this goes for cattle too:) Just eat real food that eats real food.
The difference between the two differently feed animal is that grass-fed cows eat (mostly) grass, while grain-fed cows eat (mostly) an unnatural diet based on corn and soy during the latter part of their lives. So Grass-fed beef may contain slightly less total fat than grain-fed beef, but a lot more Omega-3 fatty acids and CLA, which are both very beneficial for health.
Although burgers are known to be fast food, if done right they can also be great nutrition food.

Grass fed and free range makes me happy! Organic is a bonus but not always necessary with meat. I would rather eat meat from a healthy cow than a sick one. If farmed responsibly they shouldn't really be "pumped full of antibiotics and hormones" etc.

Look forward to being able to work my way through Beers from London brewers which will hopefully include:

Redemption, Camden Town, Kernel, Beavertown, ELB, By the Horns.

I will be a very happy man if there is a good selection of bottle and a nicely rotating set of well kept draught ales.

Hey James

Even better we will have a exclusive selection of ales on pumps as well as a guest draft every month:)

London has plenty of great brewers so I'm glad to hear you'll be stocking them (Salisbury please take note). It has also had plenty of mediocre ones so lets hope its not one of them :)

Personally I like Kernel, Partizan, Beavertown and Pressure Drop. Redemption are great for Cask.
