Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Summer baby swimming
Does anyone know of anywhere in the area that offers swimming lessons for babies over the summer? Most of the classes seem to run with school term times, meaning the next start dates is September, but I'm keen to start before that with my 6 week old baby if possible.

Wow, that's a bit better than £12.50 a class, isn't it! Had a look at the link but couldn't work out which class I needed, so will call in - thanks again for the great tip.

Park road swimming pool have great baby sessions. Lovely, warm pool. Nice instructor, lovely atmosphere.

I'd avoid the Water Babies franchise that operates out of the pool next to the Broadwater Farm estate. They would cancel lessons with a few hours' notice, then give you only a few hours' notice of make-up lessons and if you couldn't drop everything and get to the lesson, you lost the lesson. The pool facilities were rubbish, too: a tiny change room and no change room at all for dads. Anyway, if they've moved from that pool (& gotten someone else in to do their admin) then they might be better, but otherwise, steer clear.

Good to know, thanks. They have other pools (we're on the list for Chestnuts Primary one) but will defo avoid that pool and ask around to see if problems are more widespread.
