Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Cyclist hit yesterday, any witnesses?

I was hit by a motorist yesterday (8th April) at about 18.50 hrs at the junction of Green Lanes and Burgoyne Rd. I have several witnesses but would like to find more (especially the motorist who was just behind me).

I'm OK, just a bit bruised & shaken. 'going to get an x-ray now & then report to the police station.

Completely agree that Green Lanes is a horror to cycle down, but there really isn't much alternative. Wightman Rd isn't much fun either, what with the width of the road and the traffic speed (or lack of) in the morning.

I hope you feel better soon Gerry. I had a near miss a year or so back with a driver who was on their phone - they were apoplectic that I dared to suggest they might not be entirely focused on what they were doing.
