Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi all

I am moving from a horrible HMO on Burgoyne Rd and the landlord insists on the garden being empty of all the plants before then. I have worked in gardens for the last 4 years so there are a few nice plants to be had, albeit they are not looking their best as I truly neglected them...nothing that some TLC won't solve, though!! Amongst the plants that need to be uprooted and moved are the following:

-large rosemary shrub

-large Weigela

-lots of comfrey (great for early nectar for bees and for adding to the compost)

-a Macleaya microcarpa

-two pot bound climbers (Clematis montana and Passiflora caerulea) that are growing in two different pots next to each other and that could be transported with hand-made support, if wanted, the alternative being to cut down the plants and take the pots separately.

-Sarcococca confusa

In fact, I will be placing the few plants I'd like to take with me aside and you are welcome to uproot and take whatever else is left and not originally planted in the garden. I'd like to have this done on Sunday morning to early afternoon and would ask anyone interested to drop me a line over here. I will establish connections with those who show an interest. I am in the middle of the nightmare that I call moving house so I won't be able to uproot the plants myself nor reserve plants to this or that person. It would be a matter of contacting me and showing up to take a look at what is here. You would have to provide transport back to your garden and some empty bin liners in which to take the plants home with you.

Hope some of you will want to adopt my neglected babies...they will otherwise end up in the council green waste bag!!

Thank you.
