Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Head wanted

My wife makes hats and masks ( among other things ) for local plays and is looking for a mannequin head that she can form the hats, etc round ( sorry if this is not very clear - I'm just a man  )

Does anyone have such an object, or can suggest where to get one ?

About £2.99 for a polystyrene head wig stand in Paks wig shop at the bottom of Stroud Green Rd. You can pay more and get a more elegant looking plastic one but I find the cheap polystyrene ones are better as you can stick pins in them so that whatever you are working on doesn't slip off.

There's also the mannequin shop near the corner of 7 sisters and Hornsey road if you want something a bit more fancy.

Edit: Pak's or Wigworld can't remember but one of the many wig shops on that stretch. The one on the Woodstock Road side anyway. They have them on a shelf near the till.
