Mine came down too. I quite like it. Apparently in my road once upon a time there were no fences, just a big communal area, must have been so much easier bringing up kids back in those days.

The wind actually snapped the metal nose cone brackets at the bottom of the fence posts, that is some serious wind.

I wonder if once the fences come down, neighbours start becoming more respectful because they have to engage in the social politics involved in sharing ownership of a unique space ?

Hi Lizzie, Alan is my partner (I do normally say this when I post, must've forgot), he has replaced a bit of our fence but if you call him he can give you more details of the other fence work he has done.
