Muswell Hill came third in national a list of neighbourhoods most impacted by burglary.
Some people in Harringay have been worrying about burglary locally. Whilst it's little comfort to those of us who have been burgled, analysis of insurance claims by MoneySuperMarket lists London neighbourhoods and Harringay is nowhere to be seen.

If it's based on insurance claims, may not be a true representative of crime in the area. Given the demographic, I wonder how many households have insurance in Harringay. The figures certainly wouldn't put me off moving to MH.

Nowhere in the whole of Tottenham constituency, from Northumberland Park to Seven Sisters. What Sandi said.
As i posted here the other day, I thought most burglaries on on the poorest estates, neighbour vs neighbour. As they own less, the claims will be lower, if at all.
But 'I thought' is not evidence, anyone know where I got that idea? Possibly from the National Crime Survey?
