Fairline
After being here for well over 20 years, Fairline the supermarket on Grand Parade, seems to have closed down. Does anybody know what the plans are for the site?

It'll be a kebab shop, Turkish bakery or restaurant or another betting shop.

My grapevine tells me that the other restaurant owners somehow scuppererd the new restaurant plan and so instead it will be a grocers with attached bakery a la yasser halim. Grapevine source was a trade supplier to lots of the local shops. That was about a month ago, things may have changed.
