Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello

I'm considering Orange Day Nursery for my LO despite the inadequate Ofsted rating.  It came highly recommended from a fellow neighbour.  I've read all the comments re the rating that was posted here some time ago. Just wandering if anyone decided to keep their child/children there and invite any feedback/comments on Orange Day.

Thanks

Hi Lisa.

I kept both of my kids in despite the Ofsted and have to say the nursery is very good. The owner is abit money-grabbing but the manager and the staff are excellent. Both my kids have been really happy there, and are very well looked after. The Ofsetd does not reflect the current situation.

Thank you Allie for your input!  I too had a good gut feeling when I had a look around.

Hi Lisa, we were interested in sending our son to the nursery to start this August and we too were put off by the offsted report but I went down there and spoke to other parents who were collecting at the time and they were nothing but positive and i liked the environment so I decided to send him there and couldn't be happier with my decision. Melissa and michaela the managers are lovely and are good with their responses to any questions I have. The ofsted report picked up on under performance with beurocratic issues so I was reassured that it was never about the poor care of the children. The girls in the baby room are fantastic with my son and all staff I see when I drop him off are very friendly and engaging with my little boy. He's very happy there. Hope this helps.Good luck with your decision!

Thanks for this.  I went there today for the messy play and I completely agree about the girls in the baby room. They are fantastic.  I'm sold.
