Yesterday evening a little kitten was found on Hermitage Road, please contact us asap if you think it might be your kitten. Thankyou.
Have you popped to a vets to get the chip scanned? Often the best way of reuniting a cat to their owner.
Hi Lee, so small, maybe 7 or 8 weeks at most so too early to be microchipped. We tried many ways to reunite him but I'm afraid no one came forward and so we have found a loving home for him. I am convinced that the poor thing had been abandoned. He is settling into his new home and they are able to give him all the attention and care that he deserves. A happy ending.
Good to hear that he has a loving home now, that's the most important thing.
Our cat was microchipped by the RSPCA at 5 weeks old (he was found abandoned at 3 weeks old), so you can never be sure. It was part of their adoption process that all cats were chipped.
If there isn't a chip when the vet checks, please encourage them to have him chipped.
The chips are only 10mm x 2mm in size, so they are implantable at any age in a cat. We have to wait a little longer for the tortoise though, not much flesh to get at!
