Done it!

Pretty much all of those comments are so subjective and unqualified. What does 'nice' mean? How is it OK to say 'avoid' without giving a reason for it?

It's not surprising some places turn into ghettoes.

Dearie me !I think I just wrote an essay about Haringey on mumsnet...probably a good thing that I don't post on forums very often then :)

All I could do was link to this

Would the dear Leader like to comment, officially?

Jesus, dumbsnet, sad, sad, sad.

Do we need to defend Harringay ? Perhaps but if people don't want to live here that is their loss,I for one feel privileged to live here.Alexandra Palace,Finsbury Park, good transport links,a strong local shopping area, some good restaurants and pubs on the rise.

If everyone wanted to live here they'd be no room for us. Let them say its horrid - I don't care! They can live in South London.
They're not the brightest bunch.on mumsnet are they? Bit worrying.

Bit of a sweeping generalisation for a forum with 4 million users?

Like I said. Dumbsnet.

Anette have you ever spent much time on mumsnet? As I spend many of the small hours, baby feeding, lurking on the message boards, and I find that (HOL excepted of course ) it's by far the most articulate, intelligent and funny place to hang around online. And you don't even have to be a mum.  Of course it's easy to pick some comments you don't like from a few posters and call a whole online community dumb....

Actually, I find its userbase surprisingly on the ball on most things (surprisingly in this case mostly because of the massive numbers on there). If I were a Mum I don't think I'd ever log out.
