Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi

we will be moving soon from N10 to N15 and we are looking for a cheap van hire in the area to move our stuff, so I was wondering if anybody has any recommendations?

I have looked at "man & van" recommendations on both the forum and the Trades section but we don't have much furniture to move, mainly a lot of boxes really, so we were going to do it ourselves as we did last time.

Thanks in advance!

C.

We have used CVS a couple of times, cheaper mid week but no crazy deposits. Also used Practical on Park Road, very reasonable but there was a £500 deposit which we got back no worries.

CVS Van Hire - White Hart Lane

Practical - Park Road

Thanks Cara, will check them out!

Yes, I've used Practical Cars for car hire before.  They are very good.

"I can hire" are really good, you just pick up the van on the street and can return outside of normal hours which was great

Sixt was £65 for 4 days but excess was £1000 (extra £60 for no excess) There's no need to do this. You can get this additional insurance from standalone providers. (moneysavingex) 4 days excess only insurance for £8 with up to £3000 excess

Just for the record, we ended up using CVS Van Hire on White Hart Lane, not the cheapest option but we were able to pick up the van on Friday at 2 pm and drop it off on Sunday night even though their offices were closed. I would recommend them and use them again!

Thanks all for the suggestions :)
