We have recently moved house and the landlord of the previous place is trying to sting us an extortionate amount for some fairly superficial scratches/marks on an enamel bath. They were caused by a child's toy boat, so they have got down particularly deep.
Has anyone had enamel repaired/redone on a bath? Could you recommend someone to look at it or products to fix it?
Thanks in advance

I have not used it but there is a product called "Atmosinamel" for small enamel repairs. It is on sale in "Homebase" for about £8.50. You can find details about it on the internet.
we tried that, be careful, it will look like you've Tip-ex'ed your bath..
Make sure the area is well washed to degrease and plenty sanding with a very fine sandpaper just after it goes off. Doubt it would be great unless it is a very tiny area of damage.
HI,
I'm a plumber and we use a product that is available at most good plumbers merchants, though it is rather expensive around £25 but the price is justified by the end result. Not sure of the name but if you ask for an enamel repair kit they should know what you need. The kit consists of ultra fine sandpaper an enamel filler and a spay.
I hope this imformation is of some use to you and you manage to get the problem resolved
Best Whishes
Carl
