I thought about a sit down protest at the gig on Saturday, as he will be supporting The Stone Roses with Public Image.
My intro to PiL was in 1988 from my art teacher at Finley High with a cassette titled in biro New Wave of the New Wave, and the ABC's Rock Arena Programme with Suzanne Dowling, she was our Tony Wilson. Irreverence can be an art form, but this is off kilter, bad form and unpleasant, Johnny can be better than this.

The fact that Johnny Rotten was being Johnny Rotten seems lost on you. Don't think I missed anything. And yes, I am well aware of the completely non credible ad campaign he did. I think you're the one missing something getting so worked up over this. You need to Google the Sex Pistols I think..

The Country butter reference was a household brand that had a very
successful advertising campaign with the former Sex Pistols front man.
