Canon Pixma PM540 printer - free for parts

My PM540 died suddenly... Might be an electrical, rather than a mechanical issue with it. Was working fine one day, next day no power.

I think I somehow fried its circuit by sending too many instructions/cancellations and switched it off while it was still trying to work out what on earth I wanted – because when I tried to turn it on again after that the power wouldn't come on. Ok this is more of a mystical rather than a technical explanation, but I am no tech with these machines.

Had it for a few years and never had a problem with it – though not used daily, in fact hardly used weekly. Happy to give it rather than throw it away! Also have a few cartridges left.
