Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi all,

Does any one have any possible plant offerings for dry semi-shade they could donate or split for us for some for some new narrow raised beds alongside the passage as you come into the school at the infants children at South Harringay?

Particularly like to get my hands on;

Evergreen ferns - e.g Harts Tongue (baby self seeded ones great if you have a good patch of them?

Bergenia 'Elephants Ears' - (If anyone can divide of bit for us fab)

Hardy Geraniums - (any lower growing ones that don't need full sun)

Stipa Arundinacia - (the bronze coloured evergreen grass that seems to tolerate a lot of things)

Anything else that could grow in a semi-shade very narrow bed and is not poisenous (!)

I'm off to Ally Pally this morning to get a Clematis Armandii and Chinese Virginia Creeper to match the lovely growth on the nursery side of the railings - about to come into flower...

Thanks in advance,

Nemone.

Hi Nemone
I have Bergenia and somewhere I have some hardy geraniums if they haven't drowned.

Hiya,

That's brilliant thankyou.

If poss could you leave them with the school reception at South Harringay - or I can come and pick them up from you which ever's easiest?

(The reception is based at the Children's Centre in the alley between Pemberton Road and Mattison road on the ladder).

Let me know which you'd rather.

Cheers,

Nemone.
