Ladder local Leah Stuttard has very recently released her debut album of medieval harp music. Some of you may remember that Leah gave Music on the Ladder's very first recital just over a year ago (and if you don't remember, you can read VeggieReggie's review of it here).
Leah's album, entitled "The Wool Merchant and the Harp", includes much of the music that she played at that recital, and explores the world of George Cely, who learned to play the harp while on his travels as a wool trader in the late fifteenth century.
If you are interested in getting a copy of the album, it is available on CD and can be purchased from here for £13 including postage and packing. If you live locally (within delivering/collecting distance of the northern part of the Ladder), please let me know via a pm/connection request and we can sort out getting one to you for £10.
I've got mine - I think it's fantastic!
