My instinct is to trust them, although I only met the young woman who was ringing doorbells on their behalf. Anyway, they are due to call again on Monday.

I once had a "window cleaner" call who asked to be paid up front, while he went off to get his equipment. I said I'd pay when the work was done and never saw him again.

in todays society we cant distrust everyone, sure we need our guard up but we cant tar everyone with the same brush, and not all window cleaners are csing the joint, some are trying to just make a living

They came today and did front and back outside in the freezing cold for £16, which I think is reasonable. They seemed very nice, though I was too busy to have a chance to chat.
