HoL site problems on 'older' Mac browsers

I've noticed today that I'm not able to send messages, preview posts or add emoticons to posts on either of my current browsers.

Can't remember this being a prob before.

Admittedly I'm on an older (Ha!) Mac OS 10.5.8 - but that shouldn't cause problems with anything non-flash-centric.

Tested on Safari & Firefox - both show the same problems.

Any clues?

Hi Hugh,
Did you ever hear anything from your hosts about problems using HoL with older versions of Safari?
As was posted below - it seems Firefox is working OK.
It's not a biggie - but it is strange that stuff that was working in a particular browser is now borked!
Hmmm - well I can't add emoticons in Firefox - so I guess it's not entirely working.

I'm running Leopard (10.5.8) on a PowerPC. Apple might have stopped updating Safari for this combination, but the SeaMonkey browser (based on Firefox) is sometimes more compliant, including with HoL.

Just spent 15 minutes carefully crafting a reply to another thread on this forum (in FF) only to have it post with no text at all.
Upsetting.
