Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

After chatting to a local resident I asked the council to have a look at a couple of areas where the pavement was in poor repair on Hewitt Road.

I am pleased to report that the council have identified 5 locations which need reactive maintenance, these defects mainly relate to broken and raised paving slabs.  The work should be completed by 18th February 2013.

Hewitt Road is next due for a cyclical inspection on 13 March and hopefully this will identify any further works that need doing.

Please let me know if there are any other areas which need attention.

Talking about pavements, where are the Victorian paving stones that were in LOTHAIR  ROAD NORTH?. Work started last year near the river and has not been finished. Does anyone know what's up with that?

Didn't they get nicked? Something about it in this post.

Well spotted Jane.
It is ridiculous is now well over a year and nothing has bee done,

Hi,

Please please can you have a look at the Green Lanes end of Seymour rd -just where the tarmac turns to paving stones. The pavers here are all over the place, look messy and are trip hazards (esp for the elderly population who live here).

Thanks,

Matt
