Classically Trained Singer looking for Free Performances

I am a classically trained singer (soprano) and am looking to get some more experience of solo performing. I have been with choirs but I would like to have the opportunity to develop myself as a solo singer. Does anyone know of any places (such as rest homes, festivals) that may a good place for me to start? My rep is classical, traditional, folk and musicals. Any specific songs/styles, I can rehearse with my teacher.
